Frequently Asked Questions

Elopement & Adventure Wedding FAQ’s
  • Yes, you can! As mentioned before, we assist you in planning your day from start to finish. If you're not yet sure where and when to get married—be it in Washington, Utah, or perhaps the Caribbean—we'll help you choose the perfect date based on the best time of year to visit these amazing places. Here's how it works: You let us know what you're looking for, and we'll conduct the location research. Once you pick your location, we'll inform you of our availability and guide you in selecting the ideal date!

  • Yes and no. A bit confusing, right? Let us explain! Our bread and butter are adventure elopements. We love everything about it—the nature aspect, intimacy, and flexibility. However, we also cherish celebrating with more family, which most elopements were missing. That's why we came up with the idea of adventure weddings. Sixty to seventy percent of your day(s) will be focused on the nature aspect, and the other 30-40% will involve a big celebration with family. This is where your more 'traditional' venue can come into play. What we don't shoot are 'normal' weddings that only take place at traditional wedding venues.

Here's a great example of a bigger adventure wedding: On Day 1, the couple explores Yosemite NP by themselves, hiking, picnicking, and having a first look. On Day 2, they rent out an amphitheater for their ceremony with 50 guests overlooking Half Dome, and also rent out an auto camp for their big reception.

  • We offer several payment options. You can choose to pay in full, opt for a 50% upfront payment and the remaining 50% two weeks before your wedding, or set up a payment plan. The only requirement for the payment plan is a $2000 deposit to secure your date. After that, you can make monthly payments to settle the balance two weeks before your wedding date.

  • For elopement and adventure weddings, we guarantee a 12-week turnaround time to ensure that all your photos are consistently edited and perfectly curated in your Online Gallery.

For Adventure (Mini) sessions, it's a 4-week turnaround.

  • Yes and no. We genuinely believe that you are beautiful just the way you are, and that's why we don't engage in major photoshopping such as making you skinnier, taller, or removing folds in clothing. However, we do use Photoshop to address temporary blemishes like pimples and some scars in a few of your photos.

  • During our free consultation call, we get to know each other better and ask you questions about how you envision your special day. Based on your answers, we will suggest a package that best fits your criteria. If you are still unsure after your call about how much time you want with us, you can always book our lower package and upgrade to more coverage during the planning process

  • This is one of our most frequently asked questions, and our answer is: You still get married and get epic photos! It’s important to stay open-minded about the weather and expect to have some rain; you are in nature after all. But when it starts to come down, or there is a forest fire where you are supposed to say 'I DO,' we make sure we have a few backup plans ready to roll!

  • Absolutely. We will handle all the research for the permits and determine if one is required. The only thing you have to do is sign and pay if there is a fee.

  • Yes. We allow up to 20 people (including couples) total for our elopements and 25-50 people for our adventure weddings.
