Katryn and Alex Elopement in the Olympics

Katryn and Alex’s wedding day started on a bright September morning, full of excitement and sunshine. Their cozy Airbnb, tucked among mountains and forests, was the perfect backdrop for getting ready and capturing those first special moments. A few family members were already there, buzzing with anticipation for the day ahead.

The day kicked off with their first look right at the Airbnb, with breathtaking mountain views surrounding them. It felt straight out of a movie, with all the emotions running high. From there, we headed to Lake Crescent, one of the most gorgeous spots in Olympic National Park. This glacial lake, framed by towering peaks, made the perfect setting for their intimate lakefront ceremony.

During the ceremony, Alex’s dad shared heartfelt words that brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Katryn and Alex also incorporated a unique rope tying ceremony, symbolizing their bond—a meaningful and personal touch. After saying their vows, we celebrated with cake and champagne, soaking in the stunning scenery and joyful energy.

Next up was Madison Falls near Port Angeles, where we captured adventurous and fun shots of the newlyweds with the waterfall as a dramatic backdrop. We may have gotten a little wet, but it was all part of the adventure!

After family time, the adventure continued as we drove up the mountains. Winding through forest roads, we hiked to a vantage point that showcased Olympic National Park’s epic mountain views. From the top, Katryn and Alex enjoyed a quiet moment together, taking in the beauty of their surroundings and the journey they were beginning. A deer even made a surprise cameo, adding to the magic of the day.

As the sun set behind the mountains, Katryn and Alex shared a serene, unforgettable moment—truly the perfect ending to a perfect day.
