There are some wedding days that feel less like an event and more like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and Leslie & Ethan’s day in Alaska was exactly that.They brought their closest people to one of the wildest, most beautiful places they could imagine to start their marriage.The morning began with a helicopter ride out to a glacier lake, where Leslie and Ethan had their first look with icebergs slowly floating across the calm water around them. It was quiet, surreal, and the kind of moment you wish you could bottle up forever.And the details of the day made it even more meaningful. Leslie wore her mom’s wedding dress, carrying a piece of her family’s story with her as she stepped into this new chapter. Ethan wore a special family sweater, bringing a little piece of his own history along for the adventure.After their first look, they spent the day exploring Alaska, walking across a glacier, taking in incredible overlooks, and soaking up every second of the landscape they traveled so far to experience.Later, surrounded by their favorite people at Eklutna Lake, they exchanged their vows with the mountains standing quietly behind them.The celebration continued back at their Airbnb with a private dinner full of local Alaska seafood, oysters, crab, and so many other incredible dishes shared around the table with the people they love most
.

Some love stories are written in sunshine.Melanie & Colin’s was written in symbols.They intentionally chose 6.26.26, believing that meaning can be found in the smallest details. Tarot cards guided reflection, numbers held significance, and every part of their day carried a story.Then the skies decided to tell one of their own.Hail. Rain. Thunder. Wind.Just when it felt like they had experienced every season in a single afternoon, a rainbow stretched across the sky. The next morning, wildfire smoke drifted into the mountains, changing their plans once again.Most people would call it bad luck.
They called it marriage.Because marriage isn’t about waiting for perfect weather. It’s about standing together through every forecast life hands you. It’s learning when to lead and when to lean, when one person carries a little more because the other simply can’t, and trusting that the roles will someday reverse. It’s adapting, growing, changing course, and finding beauty in the unexpected.The storms didn’t take anything away from their wedding, they became part of its meaning.And maybe that’s the greatest symbolism of all.The most beautiful marriages aren’t the ones without storms.They’re the ones that learn to dance through every season, together.Elopement Photographer

L & J came all the way from North Dakota to the Te

L & J came all the way from North Dakota to the Tetons, and they seriously picked the perfect place to make their mountain dreams come true. They drove all the way here with all six of their kids, which is an adventure in itself.We started the day with beautiful blue skies, but halfway through their elopement the rain started pouring. Not once did they let it affect the day. They had the brightest smiles, trusted the process, and were so willing to adjust our plans. We had talked about doing sunrise the next morning, but with six kids that just wasn’t realistic, and I completely understood. Instead, we skipped a few locations, headed to Mormon Row, then spent some time in Jackson just soaking it all in and having fun.The last hour of the day might have been my favorite. We met back at their Airbnb where the kids were waiting, and everyone ended up having a dance party. They were dancing and singing to Taylor Swift and “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters, and it was such a fun way to end the day. Woah. The happiness I get just looking through these photos.K + T were the kind of people who make you forget you’re working. The biggest smiles, endless laughter, and the sweetest energy from the moment the day began. Their joy was contagious, and honestly, they made my job way too easy.We started the day with a dip in an alpine lake (a non-negotiable for K), wandered through the forest for their ceremony, and spent the day chasing little moments as they unfolded. The forget-me-nots blooming along the roadside at their Airbnb became a running joke—K kept reminding me what they were called, and somehow I kept forgetting. We ended the evening at the beach with a picnic, drinks, handmade kites from K’s daughter, and the dreamiest sunset.What I loved most about K + T wasn’t just how happy they were—it was the depth of their connection. They grew up together and have been friends for decades. Courtney & Myls knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day, lush green cliffs, dramatic ocean views, and not a sandy beach in sight. Oregon delivered.On a beautiful spring day, they brought their two families together overlooking Haystack Rock, with the waves crashing below and the coastline stretching endlessly behind them. The celebration continued back at their Airbnb, where a private chef prepared an intimate dinner for everyone to share.As the day came to a close, we made our way to one last overlook for sunset. The cliffs glowed shades of pink as the sun dipped toward the horizon, creating one of those rare magical evenings.There, with the ocean below and the sky on fire, they exchanged private vows and soaked in the final moments of a day that felt entirely their own.Officiant @sparkceremonies
